冲压铝材与钢材对比:成形性、成本与耐腐蚀性

简短回答:钢材——冷轧钢和不锈钢——是大多数冲压件的默认选择,因为它成形可预测、能保持严格公差,并且每美元能提供最高的强度。当您需要低重量、无需电镀的耐腐蚀性,或高导电性和导热性时,铝材胜出。在相同厚度下,预计铝材的材料成本要高出1.2–2倍,需要大15–30%的弯曲半径,并且回弹大约是中碳钢的两倍。选择铝材是为了重量和导电性;选择钢材是为了强度、耐磨性和冲压机下的尺寸稳定性。

成形性:弯曲半径、回弹与模具磨损

成形性决定了一个设计是冲压成本低廉还是在每个工位都跟您较劲。钢材在这方面有优势,因为低碳冷轧牌号是为深拉延和弯曲而设计的,而大多数用于冲压的铝合金选择是基于重量或导电性,而非成形性。

最小内侧弯曲半径是首先要检查的设计规则。6061-T6状态的铝材如果弯曲过紧会开裂,因此设计师要么使用更软的态(O、H32),要么使用5052,后者弯曲起来要优雅得多。

回弹很重要,因为它会在冲头释放后改变最终角度。铝材回弹更大,因此铝材模具需要额外的过弯,并且通常需要一个再压工位。这增加了模具成本和周期时间。如果跳过润滑,不锈钢304会拉伤模具表面,从而缩短两次刃磨之间的模具寿命。

耐腐蚀性与表面处理:铝材领先之处

在任何潮湿或户外环境中,除非有涂层,否则钢材会迅速腐蚀。镀锌、锌镍或粉末涂层会增加成本、增加工艺步骤,并且在涂层较薄的切割边缘仍可能失效。铝材会形成天然的氧化屏障,无需任何涂层即可抵御湿气。不锈钢则更进一步,能抵抗氯化物、酸和盐雾。

导电性与导热性
