热强压弹簧:锁定载荷

简短回答:热强压(也称为scragging或setting)是将成品弹簧压缩到受控的过载——通常为其工作挠度的1.05至1.5倍——并保持短暂时间,使最高应力线圈处的线材发生塑性屈服。当载荷释放时,弹簧回弹后变短,其在工作高度下的载荷变得稳定。结果是弹簧能够保持其额定载荷,而不是在最初几千次循环中损失2–8%的载荷。BQUQ将此作为压缩、拉伸和扭转弹簧的一个定义明确、有记录的步骤,发货前进行载荷验证,并在12个工作小时内返回报价。

热强压究竟是什么?

热强压是一种永久定形操作。您将已经卷绕、热处理、磨削和喷丸处理的弹簧故意推过其正常工作范围。最高应力线圈的外层纤维超过屈服强度,材料发生永久变形,残余应力在钢丝横截面上重新分布。

“热”这个词在现代实践中略有误导。传统的scragging是在高温下进行,以降低屈服强度并使操作更容易。如今,大多数生产强压是在环境温度下通过机械过载完成的——行业仍称之为热强压,一些车间确实会施加适度的热量(通常150–250°C)来辅助工艺或将其与低温去应力退火结合。

对您的设计而言,重要的不是名称,而是该操作对载荷-高度曲线的影响。

强压改变的三件事

1. 自由长度。弹簧变短。压缩弹簧在第一次强压时可能损失1–3%的自由长度,随后循环中损失逐渐减小。

2. 给定高度下的载荷。在工作挠度下的载荷下降一次然后稳定。这是您真正关心的数值。

3. 残余应力状态。线圈内侧的压缩残余应力提高疲劳寿命,这就是为什么强压通常与喷丸处理配合使用,而不是替代它。

为什么新弹簧在使用中会损失载荷?

每个刚卷绕的弹簧都带有来自卷绕和热处理的残余应力。当您安装并循环使用时,这些应力会松弛。弹簧会沉降。工作高度下的载荷下降。

幅度取决于材料、旋绕比、应力水平以及弹簧的工作强度。对于典型的冷卷压缩弹簧,在40–60%抗拉强度下运行,未稳定化的弹簧可能在最初几百次循环中损失2–5%的载荷,并继续缓慢漂移。对于在高应力或高温下运行的弹簧,漂移可能更严重。

这种漂移是一个真实的工程问题。如果您的阀门、闩锁、触点或密封件依赖于特定的力窗口,那么一个从窗口顶部开始并向下漂移的弹簧最终会超出规格——即使它通过了来料检验。

强压将这种漂移前置。您迫使沉降在工厂中、在受控条件下发生,在弹簧到达您的装配线之前。

强压 vs. 去应力退火 vs. 喷丸处理

这三种操作经常被混淆。它们不可互换。

一条运行良好的弹簧生产线会按正确顺序执行所有四项。因为“弹簧测试没问题”而跳过强压是一种常见且代价高昂的捷径。

强压操作实际上如何控制?

原理简单,执行繁琐。关键变量:

  • 强压高度或强压载荷。通常表示为超过压并高度或工作高度的挠度。常见的起点是最大工作挠度的1.1倍至1.25倍。
  • 保持时间。弹簧保持压缩的时间。从大批量自动化设备上的几分之一秒到大型或关键弹簧的几秒钟不等。
  • 循环次数。有些工艺强压一次;其他工艺将弹簧循环到固定高度数次并让其沉降。
  • 温度。大多数弹簧为环境温度;高应力或大线径应用为高温。
  • 施加速率。缓慢、受控的压缩避免冲击载荷和不一致的结果。

按弹簧类型的典型强压参数

下表给出了指示性起点。实际值根据材料、旋绕比和应力分析按零件设定——将这些视为讨论参考,而非规格。

强压后,测量弹簧。如果自由长度或载荷超出目标范围,则重复操作或报废弹簧。强压不是卷绕错误的弹簧的修复方法。

强压对您的公差堆叠有何影响?

这是强压在实际设计中体现价值的地方。两个效应很重要。

第一,它收紧有效载荷分布。刚卷绕的弹簧在工作高度下的载荷存在自然分散——线径变化、线圈直径变化和热处理变化都有贡献。强压不能消除这种分散,但消除了系统性漂移分量,因此总体保持在起始位置而不是迁移。

第二,它让您能够诚实地指定更紧的载荷公差。没有强压,工作高度下±10%的载荷公差在零件寿命期内可能过于乐观。通过强压和载荷测试,BQUQ可以在关键弹簧上保持并验证更紧的窗口。对于CNC加工零件,我们工作到±0.005 mm;弹簧载荷公差是另一门学科,诚实的答案是它们取决于旋绕比、材料以及线材供应的紧密程度。

一个计算示例

考虑一个压缩弹簧,1.2 mm音乐线,外径12 mm,8个有效圈,自由长度40 mm,工作高度28 mm。

没有强压,同一弹簧很可能以18.5 N到达客户处,并在最初几周的使用中漂移到大约17.0–17.3 N——通过来料检验,然后悄悄移出窗口。强压将漂移移到工厂车间,在那里可以测量和吸收。

哪些弹簧应该进行强压?

并非每个弹簧都需要。强压增加成本,对于低应力、载荷窗口宽松的弹簧,这是浪费精力。它在以下情况下值得采用:

  • 弹簧在高应力下运行(压缩弹簧大约高于抗拉强度的40–45%)。
  • 载荷必须在寿命期内保持在紧密窗口内。
  • 弹簧承受高温,加速松弛。
  • 弹簧与安全相关或失效模式是机构卡死。
  • 应用循环频繁——数百万次循环。
  • 弹簧大、昂贵,值得在安装前稳定化。

何时跳过

当弹簧应力低、载荷窗口宽、弹簧是一次性执行器且永不返回,或弹簧是低成本消耗品且额外操作不合理时,跳过强压。有能力的弹簧供应商会告诉您何时强压不值得花钱——这种对话是检验您与谁打交道的好方法。

BQUQ如何在生产中运行强压?

我们使用的强压工作流程:

1. 设计评审。确认工作高度、载荷窗口、应力水平和预期循环寿命。如果应力水平不足以证明强压合理,我们会说明。

2. 首件强压。确定使弹簧达到稳定自由长度和载荷的强压高度和保持时间。

4. 生产强压。在线运行操作并记录参数。

5. 最终检验。工作高度下的载荷、自由长度,以及需要时的短循环测试。

由于同一工厂运行压缩弹簧拉伸弹簧扭转弹簧,强压参数按零件系列而非按供应商设定。当设计使用多种弹簧类型且载荷窗口必须对齐时,这一点很重要。

强压在流程中的位置

强压不是第一步或最后一步。顺序错误会抵消其益处。

注意涂层在强压之后。如果您对电镀弹簧进行强压,可能会在线圈处使涂层开裂。如果先电镀后强压,会损坏镀层。顺序很重要。

买家常犯的错误

指定载荷而未指定强压条件。没有测量高度以及弹簧是否经过强压,载荷数值毫无意义。将两者都写入图纸。

忘记拉伸和扭转弹簧的强压方式不同。拉伸弹簧钩环和扭转弹簧腿是应力集中点。强压它们需要比普通压缩弹簧更低的过载和更多的谨慎。

不要求数据。要求提供强压前后的载荷曲线。无法提供数据的供应商没有控制工艺。

常见问题

问:热强压会从弹簧中去除多少载荷?

答:第一次强压时,工作高度下的载荷通常下降2–8%,取决于材料、应力水平和旋绕比。大部分损失发生在第一次操作中,之后弹簧基本稳定,后续循环中漂移低于1%。确切数字按零件测量,而非假设。

问:热强压和scragging一样吗?
