材料选择与厚度限制

材料的选择直接决定了工艺的可行性。CNC加工几乎可以处理所有工程材料,包括高达62 HRC的淬硬钢、钛合金(Ti-6Al-4V)和铝7075-T6。金属冲压最适合能够承受冷加工而不开裂的延展性材料:低碳钢(SPCC、DC01)、铝5052-H32、黄铜和铜。

材料厚度是一个硬性限制。级进模冲压通常处理0.1 mm至6.0 mm的板材。超过6.0 mm,则需要重型冲压机(400吨或以上),并且模具成本将增加35-50%。CNC加工没有实际的厚度限制;我们常规加工最大可达500 mm x 500 mm x 300 mm的块料。在材料利用率方面,冲压产生的废料极少(通常为5-8%),而CNC加工实心坯料可能产生40-70%的废料,尤其是对于复杂的空心零件。
