散热器性能测量:贴合实际的测试方法

简短回答:唯一能真实反映散热器性能的测试,是复现你实际热源、安装方式、气流和环境温度的测试。使用 cartridge heater 的洁净实验室装置报告热阻 Rth = (Tbase − Tair)/P,不确定度约为 ±5–10%,但如果实验室以 1 m/s 的完美管道气流运行,而你的产品处于静止空气中通风口后方,测得的 Rth 就是虚构的。围绕应用定义测试,用嵌入式或仔细粘接的热电偶测量基板温度,将功率控制在 ±1–2%,你就能得到可以写入数据手册的数字。

核心测量:稳态热阻

散热器的基础测量在概念上很简单。将加热器安装到散热器基板,施加已知功率 P,让系统达到稳态,测量基板温度 Tbase 和环境温度 Tair,计算 Rth s-a = (Tbase − Tair)/P。实践中,细节决定这个数字是否有意义。

功率必须已知到 ±1–2%,因此测量电压和电流的直流电源优于损耗未知的交流加热器。基板温度是敏感点:粘在表面的热电偶读取的是表面,而非加热器下方的界面;埋在表面下 2 mm 钻孔中的热电偶读取的值略有不同。大多数实验室会报告他们使用了哪一种,在高热流密度下差异可达数度。稳态意味着温度在 10–15 分钟内漂移小于约 0.1–0.3 °C,对于大型自然对流散热器,这可能需要一小时甚至更久。

散热器测试中最常见的错误并不奇特。热电偶导线会从测量点导热,因此细线和良好热接触很重要。大多数计算忽略辐射,但在高温升下,黑色阳极氧化散热器的自然对流散热中辐射贡献 10–30%,因此裸铝实验室样品相比成品阳极氧化产品读数偏低。方向改变自然对流结果 5–20%:翅片垂直与水平,散热器在热源上方与下方。最大的一个:在一个功率水平测试并假设线性:Rth 随温度变化,因为辐射和空气特性变化,所以在你实际运行的功率和温度下测试。
