散热器热阻:如何计算您所需的热阻值

什么是热阻?

热阻是指每瓦热量引起的温升,单位为开尔文每瓦 (K/W)——与 °C/瓦相同。您可以将其视为热学中的电阻:热量是电流,温差是电压,散热器是电阻。一个 2 K/W 的散热器在散发 25 W 热量时,其温度会比周围环境高 50 °C。如果将热阻降至 1 K/W,同样的 25 W 热量只会使其温度升高 25 °C。

热量流经一系列热阻:元件内部的结到壳、通过导热界面材料的壳到散热器,然后是散热器到空气。对于采购和设计散热器而言,关键的数值是散热器到环境的热阻 Rth(s-a)。这是您可以通过几何形状和气流实际控制的热阻。

如何计算所需的热阻?

公式为 R = ΔT / Q。只需三步。首先,根据数据手册中的降额曲线(而非主观臆断)确定元件可能达到的最高温度。其次,减去产品在使用中可能遇到的最恶劣环境温度。该差值即为您的总温升预算。第三,除以热负荷(瓦)。结果即为从结到环境所允许的最大总热阻。

请注意——有一个步骤容易被忽略,但后果严重。您刚刚计算的预算涵盖了整个热传导链:结到壳、导热界面材料和散热器。一个真实的模块在热量到达散热器之前可能就消耗了 1–2 K/W 的热阻。如果数据手册规定结温可高于环境温度 60 °C,而内部热传导链消耗了其中 15 °C,那么散热器只能分配剩余的 45 °C。请先减去已知的内部热阻,然后根据剩余预算来设计散热器尺寸。

实际示例:为 25 W 模块设计散热器尺寸

以一个耗散 25 W 的电源模块为例,其所在外壳可能遇到 35 °C 的环境温度。数据手册允许外壳温度达到 85 °C。温升预算:85 − 35 = 50 °C。假设使用一个优质的导热垫,其界面热阻约为 0.5 K/W,则模块外壳到空气的热传导链已消耗预算中的 0.5 × 25 = 12.5 °C,为散热器本身留下约 37 °C。因此,散热器的热阻必须约为 37 / 25 ≈ 1.5 K/W 或更优。

现在粗略估算表面积。在静止空气中的自然对流每平方米每开尔文大约可散发 5–10 W。取中间值 h = 8 W/m²·K:A = Q / (h × ΔT) = 25 / (8 × 37) ≈ 0.084 m² 的总翅片表面积。这是一个真实的挤压铝散热器型材——大约 60 mm 宽、60 mm 高、40 mm 长,带有典型翅片,是一个非常普通的部件。

加装一个风扇,情况则完全不同。2–3 m/s 的强制风冷可将对流换热系数提高到 25–100 W/m²·K 的范围。在 h = 50 时,同样的 25 W 热量仅需要 25 / (50 × 37.5) ≈ 0.013 m² 的表面积——散热器尺寸缩小超过 80%,这正是每个电源都内置风扇的原因。

应使用何种气流假设?

对流换热系数是决定散热器尺寸的关键,也是最容易被猜测的数值。请使用以下典型值作为起点,然后通过几何形状进行验证:

三个实用提醒。自然对流不适用于水平翅片——热空气无法向上穿过它们,性能比垂直翅片下降 20–40%。对于深色阳极氧化散热器,辐射散热比教科书上说的更重要:在典型电子设备温度下,它大约增加相当于 5–7 W/m²·K 的散热能力,因此阳极氧化不仅仅是装饰。此外,数据手册中的 h 值假设气流清洁且无阻碍——在无通风口的密封外壳中,自然对流的数值完全不适用。

应向工厂提供什么信息,而非 CAD 文件?

工厂可以加工您绘制的任何形状。我们设计正确翅片所需的是热性能规格:热负荷(瓦)、允许的最高温度、最恶劣环境温度、气流模式(自然对流或强制风冷及其速度)、可用的外形尺寸以及散热器的安装方式。如果您已知目标 Rth(s-a),也请一并提供——这是最有用的一个数值。

如何计算散热器热阻?

答:R = ΔT / Q。将允许温升(最高元件温度减去环境温度)除以热负荷(瓦)。先减去内部热阻(如结到壳和导热垫),然后根据剩余预算设计散热器尺寸。

散热器的良好热阻值是多少?

答:没有通用数值。用于 10–50 W 器件的典型挤压铝散热器热阻在 0.5 至 3 K/W 之间。从您的温升预算反推:如果在 20 W 时必须保持高于环境温度 40 °C,则需要 2 K/W 或更优。

散热器需要多大的表面积?
