散热器包装:运输中保护鳍片

鳍片是任何散热器上最脆弱的部分,也是零件存在的理由。弯曲的鳍片不仅看起来糟糕——它还会改变气流,阻塞相邻通道,并可能使成品组件超出平面度公差。然而,包装通常是任何人审查的最后一项,也是采购团队首先尝试削减的事项。本文涵盖了运输中实际损坏散热器的原因、如何指定能够承受运输的包装,以及如何将要求写入采购订单,使您的供应商无法悄悄降低标准。

为什么散热器在运输中会损坏?

损坏几乎总是来自四种机制之一,而且它们并不都同样明显。

鳍片压碎发生在堆叠的零件在自身重量或托盘负载下压缩时。挤压铝鳍片的尖端厚度通常为 0.8–1.5 mm。一个 400 mm 长的挤压件有 40 个鳍片,在纸箱中堆叠二十层高,会对最外层的鳍片施加实际负载。尖端变形,由于变形发生在尖端,直到零件被螺栓固定且风扇罩不再就位时才可见。

底座弯曲是更隐蔽的故障。一个在 200 mm 跨度上厚度为 6 mm 的散热器底座是刚性的,但并非无限刚性。如果纸箱平放跌落且底座仅在两端支撑,底座会产生永久变形。这种变形后来表现为平面度故障——正是我们在散热器平面度规格文章中涵盖的问题。

表面损伤影响电镀和机加工零件。镀镍、阳极氧化或带有加工底座的 skived 鳍片散热器可能被纸板灰尘、相邻零件或用于封闭纸箱的订书钉和胶带划伤。热界面上的划痕是功能缺陷,而非外观缺陷。

污染是最不明显的。纸板纤维、泡沫碎屑和胶带残留的粘合剂最终都会落在底座上。如果零件直接进入热界面材料(TIM)点胶线,这种污染会成为结合线缺陷。

模式很简单:鳍片越薄,包装需要做的就越多。Skived 和折叠鳍片零件绝不应直接堆叠在彼此之上,无论运输距离有多短。

好的散热器包装实际上是什么样的?

好的包装是一个系统,而不是一种材料。它有三个任务:隔离鳍片、支撑底座,并固定零件使其无法在自己的腔体内移动。

第1层:初级包裹

每个散热器在进入纸箱前都应单独包裹。对于机加工或电镀零件,使用低绒毛材料——VCI 纸、PE 袋或泡沫袋。避免使用报纸,避免将牛皮纸直接接触机加工底座。

对于有锋利鳍片边缘的零件,仅用 PE 袋是不够的。袋子会被鳍片尖端刺穿,然后鳍片仍然暴露。使用泡沫袋或泡沫衬里套筒。

第2层:腔体

腔体是大多数包装规格失败的地方。一个在每个方向上比零件大 5 mm 的腔体是一个让零件滑动的腔体。滑动意味着鳍片尖端摩擦腔壁,也意味着零件在跌落后可能落在角落上。

目标是使腔体以轻微过盈固定零件——通常泡沫压缩 1–2 mm——并且接触零件的底座法兰或安装面,而不是鳍片尖端。

第3层:外箱

外箱提供跌落保护。散热器出口运输的标准做法是使用双瓦或三瓦瓦楞纸箱,其爆破强度与包装重量相匹配。对于每个约 3 kg 以上的零件,通常使用内隔板或泡沫块托盘。

这些是一般工业运输的指示性数字。正确的等级取决于您的承运人的跌落高度规格和您自己的搬运环境。

如何防止鳍片在堆叠中压碎?

最有效的规则是定向鳍片,使其不承受垂直负载。鳍片在其自身平面内坚固,横向则脆弱。

如果必须堆叠零件,请以底座对底座或底座对鳍片尖端的方式堆叠,并使用刚性隔层。切勿鳍片尖端对鳍片尖端堆叠。每层之间使用 3 mm 瓦楞或 5 mm 泡沫隔层,将负载分散到整个 footprint 上,而不是集中在几个鳍片尖端上。

对于非常高的鳍片堆叠——任何超过约 25 mm 鳍片高度的——鳍片本身成为柱。在这种情况下,包装应在底座法兰或位于鳍片尖端下方的模制泡沫肩部上承载负载,这样鳍片根本不受压缩。

振动问题

跌落测试吸引了所有注意力,但振动在长途海运或铁路运输中造成更多累积损坏。在腔体中松动的零件会与泡沫摩擦数天。结果是鳍片尖端出现抛光磨损痕迹,对于电镀零件,涂层被磨穿。

两个解决方法:增加泡沫压缩,使零件无法移动,并添加一个顶部垫片,将零件压入其腔体。在轻微压缩下固定的零件不会摩擦。

包装规格应包括什么?

如果您希望包装可执行,就必须写下来。图纸上的一行注释不是规格。包括:

  • 材料标注——泡沫类型(PE、EPE、EVA)、密度和厚度。25–35 kg/m³ 的闭孔 PE 是散热器托盘的常见起点。
  • 腔体尺寸及公差,参考零件的基准,而不是纸箱。
  • 堆叠限制——最大层数和最大纸箱重量。
  • 跌落测试参考——您的承运人或客户要求的标准和跌落高度。
  • 清洁度要求——零件是否必须无绒毛、VCI 保护或单独装袋。
  • 标签和可追溯性——零件号、版本、数量和批次。

关于可回收包装的说明

对于大批量项目,可回收托盘和货架在总成本上通常优于一次性泡沫。权衡之处在于可回收包装必须在其自身的物流循环中幸存,并且必须在循环之间清洁。如果散热器 destined for 清洁装配区,一个一直放在仓库中的可回收托盘将需要清洗步骤。在承诺之前要考虑这一点。

包装如何与制造公差相互作用?

包装无法修复已经超出公差的零件,也不能为此被指责。这就是为什么来料检验应将运输损坏与制造变异分开。

在运输中弯曲的鳍片通常显示尖锐的局部扭结,并且通常有来自泡沫或相邻零件的见证痕迹。来自挤压或 skiving 过程的弯曲鳍片显示沿鳍片长度延伸的平滑曲线。在低倍显微镜下两者看起来不同,当您决定是向承运人还是供应商索赔时,这种区别很重要。

常见问题

问:什么泡沫最适合包装铝散热器?

答:25–35 kg/m³ 的闭孔聚乙烯泡沫是通常的选择。它抗压缩永久变形,不像开孔泡沫那样脱落碎屑,并且如果散热器要靠近敏感电子设备,还可以提供防静电等级。EPE 更软,更适合非常薄的 skived 鳍片。避免松散填充物,避免任何会碎裂的泡沫,因为碎屑最终会落在热界面上。

问:散热器是否应在底座上附带保护膜运输?

答:是的,如果底座是机加工的热界面。PE 膜或纸背胶带可防止划痕和污染。指定低残留粘合剂,以便膜干净地剥离,不会在底座上留下粘性。对于阳极氧化或涂漆零件,通常不需要膜,如果长时间留在温暖的仓库中,实际上可能会损坏涂层。

问:一个纸箱可以装多少个散热器?

答:没有通用数字——这取决于零件重量、鳍片高度和纸箱等级。一个实用的规则是将包装纸箱保持在约 15 kg 以下以便手动搬运,并将鳍片尖端负载保持在最外层鳍片变形的点以下。对于高挤压件,每箱较少的零件加上刚性隔层比更多零件没有隔层更好。

问:散热器需要防静电包装吗?

答:仅当散热器是裸金属零件,将接触 ESD 敏感组件,或者如果它附带风扇、导热垫或电子元件时。裸铝和铜散热器是导电的,不需要防静电袋来保护自身。一旦您添加风扇或粘合的热界面,包装要求通常会改变。

问:包装可以为特定散热器定制吗?
