压缩弹簧屈曲:当长弹簧发生侧向弯曲时

当压缩弹簧过长且细长,无法承受所需挠度时,就会发生屈曲——即侧向弯曲并摩擦其内孔或导向件。决定因素有两个:长细比(自由长度除以平均螺旋直径,L0/D)以及挠度占自由长度的比例。对于挠度超过40%的独立弹簧,将L0/D保持在约4以下,或用杆或套筒引导弹簧,侧向失效模式即可从您的设计中消除。

屈曲是工程师们容易忽略的失效模式,因为它在图纸上是不可见的:弹簧在CAD中看起来没问题,但在产品中却会靠在腔壁上,在线圈上磨出亮点,失去载荷,最终断裂或划伤壳体。压缩弹簧是一根细长柱体,与任何柱体一样,当其长度与直径之比相对于其所承受的压缩量过大时,它会在载荷下侧向弯曲。好消息是,在您订购弹簧之前,这些规则就足以简单应用,而且修复方法通常是免费的:缩短它、加粗它,或者引导它。

如何防止屈曲:三种有效修复方法
