不锈钢CNC零件的钝化与酸洗

酸洗是更深的蚀刻。它使用更强的硝酸和氢氟酸混合液,去除一层基体金属本身,这是去除热变色、轧制氧化皮以及焊接或高温加工过程中形成的贫铬层所必需的。由于酸洗会去除材料,它会改变表面光洁度并略微减小零件尺寸,因此必须提前规划。

游离铁:机加工不锈钢的真正敌人

何时选择酸洗

当存在真正的热影响区时,酸洗并非过度。三种情况需要酸洗:

焊缝。TIG和MIG焊接会在焊缝处留下热变色(蓝色、灰色或黑色)和贫铬层。该区域会首先点蚀。酸洗去除它,然后钝化恢复膜层。焊接变色无法通过钝化去除。

激光切割和等离子切割。这些工艺在不锈钢上留下毛刺和氧化边缘,尤其是在较厚的板上。先酸洗再钝化。

电火花加工表面。电火花加工留下重铸层,该层脆且与基体金属化学性质不同。在钝化前通过酸洗去除。

如果这些都不适用,且零件只是机加工并按照普通车间护理处理,酸洗通常是浪费钱。你为材料去除、更暗的光洁度和更长的交货时间付费,却得不到需要的益处。

酸洗风险:过度蚀刻和氢脆

酸洗是一个受控的腐蚀步骤,像任何腐蚀步骤一样,它可能过度。将薄壁或精加工零件在酸浴中放置太久,酸会不均匀蚀刻,使装饰表面变暗,或圆化你希望保持锐利的尖锐特征。薄截面最脆弱,这就是为什么酸洗线对薄规格零件使用更短的停留时间和更密切的监控。

第二个风险是高强度或冷加工不锈钢的氢脆。酸浴可能将氢引入金属,在承受高拉伸应力的零件上,氢可能导致延迟开裂。如果高强度不锈钢零件必须酸洗,后烘烤和记录过程很重要,值得询问供应商如何控制。
