CNC零件的硬质阳极氧化:耐磨性与厚度

什么是硬质阳极氧化,它与装饰性阳极氧化有何不同

阳极氧化是一种电化学过程,将铝表面转化为氧化铝层。氧化层由基体金属生长而来,而非沉积在表面,因此结合力极佳。硬质阳极氧化,也称为Type III阳极氧化,在比装饰性Type II工艺更低的温度和更高的电流密度下进行,产生更厚、更致密且硬度高得多的涂层。

厚度、生长与公差规划

这是大多数硬质阳极氧化错误发生的地方。氧化层一部分向外形成,一部分向内渗透,行业经验法则大致是50%向外生长,50%向内渗透。因此,40 µm的总涂层会在零件外部增加约20 µm,并在每面消耗约20 µm的基体金属。

对于配合公差为±0.02 mm的零件,50 µm涂层会使该表面向外移动约25 µm,可能导致公差超差。解决方法是预先将尺寸加工得比预期生长量小,或遮蔽必须保持裸露的表面。告知工厂涂层后所需的最终尺寸,而非涂层前的尺寸,让工艺工程师反推预加工尺寸。这正是CNC加工公差指南中涉及的公差堆叠讨论。

另请注意,硬质阳极氧化具有轻微的 surface texture:涂层会跟随加工表面,可能使抛光表面略微变暗。镜面抛光保持尺寸但失去部分光泽。如果外观重要,请在涂层前考虑喷砂或抛光,并考虑涂层步骤。

哪些铝合金适合阳极氧化

如果目标是耐磨性且合金仍可选,请选择6061。它能获得致密、坚硬的涂层,加工性好,且广泛可用。如果设计因强度锁定为7075,预期氧化层更薄且耐磨性较差,并考虑其他表面处理或钢制嵌件是否更合适。

磨损、硬度与实际耐久性

硬质阳极氧化6061根据工艺细节可达到约380–600 HV,远硬于基体铝,表面硬度可与某些硬化工具钢相媲美。这使其能够承受滑动磨损、磨蚀性颗粒接触和反复操作。氧化层还电绝缘且化学惰性,适用于暴露于温和化学品的零件。

两个注意事项很重要。首先,涂层硬但薄且脆;在尖锐冲击或弯曲下可能开裂,裂纹会暴露裸铝。因此硬质阳极氧化可防止磨蚀和滑动磨损,但不能防止重冲击或底层零件的严重弯曲。其次,阳极氧化过程会降低零件的疲劳强度,因为脆性氧化层在循环载荷下可能引发裂纹。对于疲劳关键的铝制零件,在指定涂层前需理解这一权衡。

然而,对于大多数磨损和装饰性磨损应用,硬质阳极氧化是铝材上性价比最高的表面处理。这就是它出现在液压元件、滑动导轨、阀体和工装表面上的原因,在这些地方裸铝会在几周内发生咬合和磨损。

成本、颜色与交货期

在中国源头工厂,硬质阳极氧化的指示性成本为中等批量简单零件每件几美元,随尺寸、遮蔽复杂度和颜色及厚度控制严格程度而增加。两个最大的成本驱动因素是夹具和遮蔽。每个需要保持裸露的表面都必须遮蔽,而遮蔽是手工劳动。如果能让涂层覆盖整个零件,成本会下降;如果一半零件必须保持导电和裸露,则单件价格会更高。

颜色有限。硬质阳极氧化自然产生深灰至黑色,确切色调随合金和厚度变化。如果批次间精确颜色匹配很重要,会增加成本和工艺控制。许多买家接受自然的深灰色并完全跳过染色,以降低成本和风险。

阳极氧化本身的交货期通常在零件加工完成后几天。延长总交货期的是为生长而进行的预加工调整以及任何首件评审以确认涂层厚度符合预期。

在决定前,也值得将硬质阳极氧化与替代方案进行比较,因为总体最便宜的解决方案有时是另一种。化学镀镍提供更硬、更均匀的涂层,适用于非铝零件,但更重且增加更多尺寸生长。粉末喷涂更便宜且颜色覆盖好,但几乎不提供耐磨性且快速增加厚度。在磨损点使用硬化钢嵌件的裸加工通常是最耐用的答案。当零件是铝、磨损是磨蚀性或滑动性而非冲击性,并且希望涂层与金属结合而非覆盖在表面时,硬质阳极氧化胜出。
