对于超过100万次循环的高循环应用,请指定卷制后进行喷丸处理,以在表面引入压缩残余应力。喷丸处理可将疲劳寿命提高50-150%,但根据尺寸不同每件增加$0.02-$0.10的成本。此外,请指定卷制后在200-300°C下进行30分钟的消除应力热处理,以去除成型过程中产生的残余应力。对于将在80°C以上运行的弹簧,此步骤为强制要求。

对于长度超过50 mm的弹簧,不要将自由长度公差指定为严于±0.05 mm。热膨胀和线径波动使这一公差在生产中无法实现。应改为指定载荷公差,这在功能上更具相关性。

不要在不通知制造商的情况下混用材料批次。不同炉次的线材抗拉强度存在差异,可使弹簧刚度变化高达5%。BQUQ建议在超过10,000件的生产批量中订购单一连续线材批次。
