毛刺形成是四阶段冲压工艺的固有结果:弹性变形、塑性变形、裂纹萌生和裂纹扩展。当冲头下降时,材料承受压缩应力和拉伸应力。当冲头穿透约三分之一材料厚度时,冲头边缘和凹模边缘同时产生裂纹。这些裂纹相向扩展,当它们不能完美对接时,零件边缘就会形成毛刺。

毛刺过大的根本原因

异常毛刺增长的主要原因分为六类:模具磨损、间隙不当、材料变化、润滑不当、模具部件错位和切削刃变钝。每种原因都会呈现不同的毛刺特征,有助于诊断。
