拉伸弹簧的初拉力:正确设定

简短回答:初拉力是紧密缠绕的拉伸弹簧在施加任何载荷之前就已经具有的内部力——它使各圈保持压紧。典型值为弹簧额定载荷的 5–15%,但实际中根据旋绕比和材料的不同,可见 2–25% 的范围。设定过低,弹簧会发出响声并失去自由长度;设定过高,各圈会卡滞,挂钩应力上升,弹簧在工作行程内可能根本无法拉伸。应将其规定为零挠度下的力(N 或 lbf),而不是百分比,然后在载荷-挠度曲线上验证,该曲线的第一段偏离原点。

初拉力究竟是什么?

紧密缠绕的拉伸弹簧不是松弛的零件。在卷绕过程中,钢丝在张力下进给,各圈彼此紧靠缠绕。当弹簧从芯棒上释放时,钢丝自身的弹性回复试图解开螺旋,但各圈已经接触——因此弹簧不是膨胀,而是将这种回复储存为残余扭转应力。结果是弹簧表现得像受拉的绳索:在施加的载荷超过内部预载之前,它抵抗两端分离。

在载荷-挠度图上,这表现为一条不经过原点的直线。将线性区域外推至零挠度,它与力轴相交于一个正值。该截距就是初拉力,通常写作 P₁ 或 Fᵢ。

有两个后果对设计很重要:

  • 在低于 P₁ 时弹簧完全不拉伸。如果你的机构需要弹簧在 0.5 N 时开始移动,而你的初拉力是 2 N,那么弹簧在达到 2 N 之前就是刚性连杆。
  • 刚度(弹簧常数)不受影响。初拉力使曲线向上平移;它不改变斜率。刚度由线径、圈径和有效圈数决定。

这是拉伸弹簧与压缩弹簧的关键区别,后者通常以圈间有间隙的方式卷绕,没有等效的预载——其力曲线确实从零开始。

为什么初拉力比大多数工程师预期的更重要?

因为它是最常被遗漏在图纸上的参数,也是最常导致现场失效的参数,而这些失效看起来像是其他问题。

最后一行是最常见的误诊。买方规定“30 mm 拉伸时 10 N”,收到一根在 30 mm 时读数为 10 N 的弹簧——但刚度和初拉力之间的分配错误。它通过了来料检验,然后在装配中表现糟糕,因为在 5 mm 拉伸时的力与机构所需的完全不同。

制造过程中初拉力是如何产生的?

初拉力不是单独的工序。它是弹簧卷绕方式的副产品,由卷簧机上的四个因素控制:

1. 钢丝进给张力。卷绕时更高的进给张力产生更多残余应力和更高的 P₁。这是主要的调节旋钮。

2. 卷绕速度和节距。拉伸弹簧采用紧密缠绕,因此节距名义上为零;速度影响钢丝通过进给辊时的加工硬化程度。

3. 芯棒直径相对于弹簧内径。相对于成品内径更紧的卷绕会锁入更多的回复应力。

4. 去应力 / 热处理。卷绕后的低温去应力会释放部分残余应力。时间或温度越高,P₁ 越低。这就是为什么 P₁ 必须在图纸上规定并且热处理条件必须固定——否则同一弹簧设计在两次不同批次中可能回来时是 3 N 或 9 N。

对于弹簧制造商来说,达到目标 P₁ 就是设定进给张力,然后通过拉伸测试确认。这是一个可控的过程,但前提是目标以带公差的数值形式给出。“紧密缠绕”不是规格。

初拉力与弹簧旋绕比的关系

弹簧旋绕比(D/d,平均圈径除以线径)强烈影响实际可实现的初拉力。低旋绕比弹簧——比如 D/d 为 4 到 6——刚度大,可以保持高初拉力而各圈不会滑移。高旋绕比弹簧,D/d 大于 12,由相对较细的钢丝绕在大直径上,保持各圈闭合所需的残余应力受钢丝屈服强度限制。

关于可实现值的实用经验法则:

如何在图纸上规定初拉力?

将其规定为零挠度下的力,带公差,并说明测试方法。完整的拉伸弹簧标注包括:

  • 自由长度(带公差)
  • 外径或内径(带公差)
  • 线径
  • 有效圈数或总圈数
  • 初拉力 P₁,单位为 N 或 lbf,带公差带
  • 刚度,单位为 N/mm 或 lbf/in
  • 一个或两个参考长度下的载荷(交叉校验)
  • 挂钩类型、挂钩半径和挂钩方向
  • 材料和表面处理
  • 热处理 / 去应力条件

一个计算示例可以清楚说明算术。假设你需要 40 mm 拉伸时 12 N,并且希望弹簧在大约 1.5 N 时开始移动。

  • 所需刚度 = (12 − 1.5) / 40 = 0.2625 N/mm
  • 初拉力 P₁ = 1.5 N ±0.4 N
  • 20 mm 时的交叉校验载荷 = 1.5 + (0.2625 × 20) = 6.75 N

现在弹簧制造商有两个独立的约束条件,可以确定几何形状和卷绕设置。如果你只给出 40 mm 时 12 N 的数值,会有无数种刚度和 P₁ 的组合满足它——而其中大多数对你的机构来说都是错误的。

选择公差带

越紧越贵,而且 P₁ 本质上比刚度更易变。作为工作指南:

应用建议的 P₁ 公差理由
静态张紧器,非关键±25%只需将零件保持在一起
一般工业机构±15%平衡功能和成本
精密复位 / 传感器弹簧±10%位置重复性很重要
仪器仪表,低力驱动±7% 或更紧需要 100% 检验,单位成本更高

比 ±7% 更紧的公差可以实现,但应尽早讨论,因为它们通常意味着在载荷测试仪上筛选每一件,而不是抽样。

初拉力如何测量和验证?

标准方法是载荷-挠度拉伸测试。将弹簧安装在挂钩或销上,缓慢拉伸,并记录几个长度下的力。然后通过对曲线线性部分拟合直线并读取力轴截距来找到初拉力。

决定数值是否有意义的实用要点:

  • 使用正确的夹具。挂钩必须坐在正确直径的销上。被挤压或侧向受载的挂钩读数偏低,给出错误的 P₁。
  • 以规定的拉伸速率测试。快速拉伸会增加动态分量。标准做法是缓慢的准静态拉伸。
  • 仅在线性区域测量。最初一两毫米可能包括挂钩就位和各圈分离;最后部分可能接近屈服。拟合中间部分。
  • 在同一样品上检查自由长度。低 P₁ 和长自由长度通常同时出现并相互印证。
  • 样本量很重要。对于 ±15% 公差,首件 5 件样品加上定期过程检查通常足够。对于 ±7%,计划 100% 测试。

如果你没有载荷测试仪,简单的比较检查可用于来料检验:从弹簧上悬挂已知质量并测量伸长量。如果弹簧在应产生 y mm 的载荷下伸长了 x mm,差异会告诉你 P₁ 还是刚度有问题——前提是你取两个不同载荷下的两个读数。仅一个读数无法区分两者。

何时应增加或减少初拉力?

有意识地调整,而不是通过试错。

在以下情况下增加初拉力:

  • 弹簧必须在静止时使机构抵抗振动或响声
  • 你需要弹簧作为轻预载或防背隙元件
  • 组件在达到阈值力之前不得移动(类似棘爪的行为)
  • 自由长度必须在多次循环中保持稳定

在以下情况下减少初拉力:

  • 机构必须对非常小的力作出响应
  • 挂钩应力已经接近极限——高 P₁ 使应力集中在挂钩后的第一圈
  • 弹簧在接近最大拉伸量下工作,此时增加的 P₁ 将总应力推向屈服
  • 你看到的是挂钩处而非簧身处的疲劳失效

材料设定上限。初拉力是储存的弹性能,因此它与材料的屈服强度和剪切模量成比例。
