CNC加工中的公差等级定义

公差是物理尺寸的允许变化量。在CNC加工中,我们将公差分为三个操作等级,直接影响报价和生产策略。

标准公差(±0.005英寸或0.127毫米)是大多数批量生产的默认选择。适用于间隙配合的配合件、非关键外观表面,以及千分之几英寸的偏差不会影响功能的特征。在此等级下,我们不需要特殊刀具、额外检验或二次加工。

精密公差(±0.002英寸或0.051毫米)需要专用刀具路径、较新的机床和中间检验。这通常用于轴承座、轴径和对位特征。由于进给速度降低和换刀更频繁,我们看到成本比标准公差增加15-20%。

高精度公差(±0.0005英寸或0.013毫米)仅用于关键特征,如光学安装座、医疗器械组件和航空航天配合表面。实现这一精度需要温控环境(68°F±2°F)、专用刀具和三坐标测量机(CMM)验证。预计成本比标准公差高出50-100%。

材料特性决定了尺寸可以控制到多紧。铝6061-T6是最宽容的材料,热膨胀系数为13.1 µm/m·°C,可稳定实现精密公差。不锈钢304的膨胀系数为17.3 µm/m·°C,且会加工硬化,在薄壁区域更难保持紧公差而不产生翘曲。

钛Ti-6Al-4V(9.0 µm/m·°C)尺寸稳定性好,但会产生高切削温度,导致刀具偏摆和零件热增长。我们建议长度超过100毫米的钛零件最大公差为±0.003英寸。

Delrin(POM)和PTFE等塑料的膨胀系数超过100 µm/m·°C,对于长度超过50毫米的零件,公差严于±0.005英寸是不切实际的。对于乙缩醛,我们以±0.010英寸为标准报价,因为材料的变形量大于机床的变形量。

公差通过三种机制直接影响成本:循环时间、检验频率和废品率。在标准公差下,我们以100%的最佳进给速度加工。在精密公差下,我们将进给降低20%,并在加工到50%时增加中间检验。在高精度下,进给降低40%,每个零件都需经过三坐标测量机检验,每个零件增加30-60秒。

交期遵循相同的曲线。一个铝制标准公差零件,100件,报价为5-7个工作日。同一零件在精密公差下需要8-10天,因为增加了装夹和检验时间。高精度则延长至12-15天,因为我们需要在特定机床上排产,并进行耗时半天的首件检验。

废品率是隐性成本。在我们的生产数据中,标准公差运行的废品率为0.5-1%。精密公差废品率为2-3%。对于复杂几何形状,高精度废品率跃升至5-8%。每个报废零件都包含材料、机床时间和人工成本,因此一个50美元零件5%的废品率相当于每个合格品增加2.50美元的浪费。

经济高效精密加工的设计建议

仅对功能表面应用紧公差。如果轴必须配合轴承,将轴承轴颈的公差设为±0.0005英寸,但允许轴其余部分为±0.005英寸。与将整个零件都设为最紧公差相比,这可将加工时间和检验成本降低40%。

避免在薄壁上设置紧公差。铝材中低于0.060英寸(1.5毫米)的壁厚在加工过程中会发生偏摆,使±0.002英寸几乎不可能实现。将壁厚增加到0.090英寸(2.3毫米)可可靠地保持精密公差。
