2. 铝合金:结构和散热应用的默认选择

成本现实:一个304不锈钢零件的成本将是相同6061铝零件的2.5倍。仅在操作环境超过150°C连续温度或需要化学钝化时,才指定使用不锈钢。对于室温室内使用,阳极氧化铝或镀镍黄铜通常足以满足要求,且成本减半。

4. 黄铜:被忽视的精密和电气应用候选材料

黄铜C36000(易切黄铜)是本指南中加工速度最快的金属——可加工性指数评级为100%。它产生短而碎的切屑,允许0.2–0.3毫米/齿的进给量和高达300米/分钟的切削速度。这意味着对于小型精密零件,循环时间比铝快40%。黄铜是电气连接器、阀体和装饰五金件的理想选择。其电导率为28% IACS(国际退火铜标准),足以满足接线端子和接地部件的需求。

5. 工程塑料:轻量化、耐化学性和低摩擦

塑料类别并非单一类型。POM(聚甲醛)是齿轮、衬套和夹具的默认选择。它具有低摩擦系数(与钢配合时为0.2),吸湿率低于0.2%,并能保持±0.05毫米的尺寸稳定性。对于食品接触或低摩擦应用,PTFE(特氟龙)表现出色,但材质较软——预期表面粗糙度Ra为1.6微米或更差,并避免公差严于±0.1毫米。PTFE在负载下还会冷流变形,因此不适用于结构件。

PEEK(30%玻纤增强)是高性能特例。它可在250°C下持续使用,耐受大多数溶剂,抗拉强度为160兆帕。但价格为60–80美元/千克,且可加工性评级为3/10,属于特种材料。一个PEEK零件成本是铝制等效件的5倍。仅在医疗植入物、半导体治具或航空航天衬套等无金属材料满足要求时使用。

塑料设计规则:始终设计较大的圆角半径(最小1.5毫米),避免尖锐螺纹——改用螺纹嵌件。塑料的热膨胀比铝大5–10倍(POM的热膨胀系数为110 x 10⁻⁶/°C,而6061为23 x 10⁻⁶/°C),因此除非在检测过程中控制温度,否则切勿在大尺寸上指定严格公差。
